Six deaths, 888 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 888 new COVID-19 cases and six deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Tuesday.

The deaths reported involved one in Nablus, two in Hebron and three in Jerusalem, al-Kalia added.

The new coronavirus cases included: 162 in Hebron, 68 in Nablus, 50 in Bethlehem, 33 in Qalqilya, 190 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, 105 in Jenin, 15 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, one in Tubas, 25 in Salfit, 30 in Tulkarm, 79 in Gaza Strip, 130 in the suburbs of Jerusalem and 230 in Jerusalem (over the past two days).

A total of 455 recovery cases were recorded in Palestine: 200 in Hebron, eight in Tulkarm, 114 in Bethlehem, 10 in Tubas, six in Salfit, 57 in Jerusalem and 60 in Gaza Strip.

Currently, 39 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and 10 are on ventilators.
